MR + MRS MURPHY | A Pheasant Filled Montana Wedding
I have been waiting for this wedding all year long! I have known Lynsey for a really long time. We sang together in choir in high school & then when I married Evan, Lynsey became my cousin! Last fall we got to spend the weekend with Brady + Lynsey at their home in Augusta while I photographed their engagement pictures. It was from that fun adventurous day that I was SO excited for October 14th, 2017!!
As I think back on their wedding day my cheeks start to ache a little bit because I always just smile when I think of it. The amount of pure joy and happiness that engulfed the day is so immense! Lynsey and Brady were so humbled to be in each other's arms at their first look & with the sunshine was keeping us warm from the bitter cold we were able to capture their love story perfectly!
Some of my favorite details from the whole day was everything that was so creatively and thoughtfully made just for the day. Some of these include the adorable and warm sweater Lynsey is wearing in some of these pictures. Her talented mama made the whole thing, and the fur was a beaver trapped by Brady. Another favorite is the pheasant bouquets, made by Lynsey and her bridesmaids using Dollar Store pirate masks, pheasant feathers & wheat grass. One other detail I just have to share is about the carriages! The green carriage you see pictured above is the same carriage Lynsey's parents rode away in on their wedding day! How amazing is that?!
There were so many amazing details that went into making this day great, but the absolute best part was seeing all of their family and friends gather to send them joyfully and happily into their first few moments as Mr. and Mrs. Murphy! That is always the best part! Congratulations, Lynsey + Brady, we love you guys!!!!
