This is a fun blog to write because it’s my sweetie niece’s first birthday!!! My adoration able, smiley, happy Cora Collins is finally one year old! She came into this world on a timeline that was unexpected and scary, but her strength (and my sister and brother-in-law’s too) shone brightly as she was able to leave the NICU before the first of the year.
I was able to visit them in January 2019 and I remember how teeny tiny she was. Curled up on my chest like the sweet little innocent nugget she is. Flash forward to August when I got to see her again and she is a full blown adorable baby with the best personality!
Then again for her first birthday as we were traveling to our new home in Washington we were able to make a pit stop and see my girl again! We may have celebrated a month early, but it’s kind of like Cora to party before the party!
