Well, one of my best friends got married this past weekend and it was totally magical! I am a pretty wordy person, so I am going to try to get through this with the least amount of words so I don’t totally overwhelm you all! But let me just start by saying this was totally and completely fabulous!

Lisa has been my friend for a really long time. She is one of the most honest, kind, and most trustworthy people I know. She is one of those people who always has stuck on my side, defended me, and been my fan! Her heart just keeps growing bigger and bigger every day and I feel so lucky to be able to call her one of my best friends! As her maid-of-honor and older sister, Sierra, said in her speech (and I am paraphrasing) – Lisa is a whole lot of wonderful, but Brice must be too to have snagged such a great girl! I couldn’t agree with this more! I know from the way Lisa talks about Brice, how he treats her and Maci, how he endulges me in all my weird photography quirks that he is an outstanding man. It’s one of those marriages where you leave the ceremony going, “Yup, this one is lasting a lifetime for sure”! 

Lisa and Brice’s wedding was a couple of firsts for me! It was my first time being a bridesmaid AND the lead photographer! I will be writing a post soon about how to manuever that if you ever are in that position. It was totally fun but did take some planning & some HUGE help from my second shooter, Bri, and my brand new intern, Holly! The day physically wouldn’t of been possible for me to do wtihout them! I am so grateful for you both!! Another first is my serious awe of Lisa. Now, I think every single one of my brides is drop-dead gorgeous on their wedding day and I don’t know if it’s because I’ve known Lisa since we were buck toothed and awkward or what, but you guys – she was out of this world gorgeous. Straight out of pinterest, freaking perfect. I am not even kidding! I can’t tell you how many times I caught myself just staring at her because she looked THAT good! You’ll be able to agree with me really soon once you see the photos! 

But first, back to the love! Lisa and Brice have been planning this day for almost two years and have been together for seven years and one month exactly today (says Lisa :D)! Which means, they really know each other and they really love each other! Once you factor all that time and energy (and one very cute daughter, Maci) into the equation you can’t help but say, YUP it truly is for forever! I think I could just go on forever, but I will just get to the part you really came for – pictures of this gorgeous day!!! Love you guys, thank you for letting me be a part of your magical first day of forever!
