Hayley + Jake | June 22, 2019
I get to rave about how laid back and easy my brides are all the time, but Hayley is hands down one of the most laid back, easy-going brides to date! With a morning full of a little chaos chasing her escapee dog, to an easy hair and makeup/getting ready afternoon all the way through portraits and the ceremony to dancing, she and Jake were just so CHILL…but I guess I think that pretty much sums them up too. They are Montana raised, outdoor loving, fishing lovers, with the kindest hearts and all of that transferred into their wedding day.
The morning weather on Saturday was a little questionable, it was cold and rainy but the forecast seemed positive. Around 10 am I received a text from Hayley that said something along the lines of the rain stopping! All the praise hands because not only did the rain stop but we ended up having SUNSHINE and a beautiful warm afternoon!
There were also really sweet and memorable moments such as the Donovan tradition of bag pipes at the end of their ceremony (which in eight years I have never experienced at a wedding – it was so cool!!!!), to Hayley’s beautiful veil her mom made for her (it is very impressive, make sure to look for those photos below), to the two tiny hearts sewed into her wedding dress from her Grandfathers’ ties, to the friends and family who drove near and far to spend the afternoon with Hayley and Jake. It is easy to say it was the perfect way to start forever! Congratulations you two!
