Alissa + Paul | 06.29.2019

Saturday began as a beautiful morning; the sun was shining, the bride and groom were surrounded by their closest family and friends, and you could sense the anticipation in the room!  Alissa got ready with her sister, mom, and aunt by her side.  Alissa’s hair and makeup artist had done her sister’s hair and makeup for prom a year earlier (how cool, right?)  Paul hung out with his best friend and soon-to-be brother, staying cool for as long as possible in the basement, chatting, and laughing.  By the smile on Paul’s face, it was obvious that this was going to be the best day of his life!  As the first look grew closer, Alissa talked about how anxious and nervous she was – her anxiousness quickly dissipated once she saw her groom!

At their first look, Paul turned around with the biggest smile I’ve ever seen and said “Alissa, you look amazing!”  Her smile grew with every inch she got closer to Paul, and the love between these two was so obvious!

The bride and groom decided on a private, intimate ceremony at the Bride’s family’s farm.  The arch was built by the groom and their wine barrels and flowers created the perfect rustic-yet-elegant feel!  Together they poured grain as a unity ceremony and shared an absolutely electric first kiss!  The excitement in the air was overwhelming and so beautiful!

Following the ceremony, family and friends toasted to the new Mr. and Mrs., surrounding them with so much love.  The newlyweds and their cousins, siblings, and friends hopped onto a party bus and rocked their way into Havre.  Alissa requested to stop at a red barn and the Fresno bridge for pictures, and I am so glad we did – these are some of my favorite pictures of the day!  Upon arriving in Havre, the bride and groom were greeted with 400+ family and friends who were all waiting at the new Chuckwagon facility to celebrate their love.  They exited the bus with a loud cheer and the energy felt in that moment kept up all night!  The night was spent eating a delicious pasta dinner, Alissa smashing cake all over Paul’s face (and the cutest clean-up I’ve ever seen!), dancing, laughing, and joyously celebrating an amazing union.

Alissa and Paul, your love is so unique and so beautiful.  Here’s to a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and love with your best friend and new life partner!  I hope you’re having an amazing honeymoon in Barbados!
