July 18th, 2020 | Tara and Tristan Coragiulo

The day started with not a single cloud in the sky. The summer breeze was pushing through the trees as the temperature began to rise. Tara was hanging with her friends on her parent’s back patio, dancing and putting the finishing touches on her hair and makeup. Tristan was at the house he owns with Tara with his friends and dad, having a few beers and just relaxing. As the afternoon got closer, the reality of the next few hours started to set in. In just a few hours they would be married!

With a first look at the river, there really couldn’t of been a better view (other than Tara)! The next few hours leading up to their ceremony was full of family and friends arriving to help put finishing touches on the tables, taking photos with their best friends and loved ones, and preparing for the ceremony. Tristan only stopped smiling as Tara and her dad made their way down the aisle, so wipe a few tears from his eyes. They spoke the most perfect written vows to one another, promising to stay best friends throughout all their days. Just a few moments after they both spoke their vows, their officiant and friend, Alicia, announced them Mr. and Mrs. Coragiulo! The rest of the evening was full of old friends, dancing, wine, cupcakes, the most perfect sunshine beaming through the trees and TACOS!!

Navigating a wedding during COVID-19 is not for the the faint of heart. Tara and Tristan were surrounded by a lot of their friends and family, but the virus kept a whole lot of people from their day too. While it may have not been the day they dreamed about when we first talked about their wedding many months ago, it is going to be the most special story to tell their families later in life. I hope Tara and Tristan remember the amount of laughs they shared, the many times Tara’s dad, Jeff, shed some tears, how Tristan shoved a ton of cake in Tara’s mouth, and how Tara and her dad danced to “My Humps” part way through their father-daughter dance. I hope they remember how many people wanted to hug them after they were married and how so many friends cried tears of extreme joy for them. I hope they remember how perfect the light was as the day was drawing to an end & how relieved they felt that they would never have to do this again. That their perfect day happened & they get to be married forever!

I am thankful to know both of you. Thank you for letting me share in your first day of your forever legacy! It truly was a beautiful, special day! Hugs! – Mary
