March 21 was one of the greatest days ever! Holly and Grant were married at the Chapel at Kiwanis South of Havre surrounded by their family. I had the opportunity to spend the whole morning with Holly, her sister, mom, and best friends as she got ready for her best day ever. After everything Holly had worked so hard to plan seemed to fall apart, I admired her happiness, excitement, and her ability to focus on what was truly important; marrying the love of her life! Holly laughed, told stories, and cherished every moment. As Holly’s makeup and hair came together, it was obvious how stunning she was going to be! Holly got dressed with the help of her mama and sister, and as to be expected, Holly was absolutely beautiful.
Holly and I met Grant at second lake for their first look and with the help of Holly’s awesome white boots, we were able to trek through snow and mud to find the best spot to capture their day. Grant was so nervous, but his nerves seemed to melt away as soon as he saw his gorgeous bride! From there, it was laughs, me falling waist-deep into snow drifts a few times, the best man Jake with the most epic veil tosses, and all the snuggles we could fit in!
Holly and Grant’s ceremony was full of love. They were married by a family friend who delivered a thoughtful ceremony full of memories from their pre-marital counseling. The happiness in the room was so obvious as their parents beamed from ear to ear for the beautiful couple!
The day was wrapped up with a pizza party, delicious cake made by another family friend, presents, and a heartfelt speech by Holly’s grandma. The new Pattison’s and I snuck off to document their love as the sun went down at one of my favorite spots just outside of town. After all these two had endured that week, the relief of being married and getting to spend forever together was obvious. Holly and Grant were so happy to be wrapped up together and their smiles show just how meant to be these two are! I am honored to have spent the day with these two, and I am forever grateful for Holly’s friendship. I wish nothing but the best for Mr. and Mrs. Pattison!
